What is there to do in
BOSTON, in the very late fall/early winter?
(Although it may kill Rich to be in Boston and not be able to catch any Fenway action...)

I liked the Boston Duck Tours! There is also Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market (Mahket)... Walk the Freedom Trail (might be COLD though?)

You could walk around in Yankee Gear and start a riot!! That would be exciting!!
But seriously, if your DH is a sox fan, try calling the stadium and see if you can go on a tour. I know Yankee stadium does tours in the winter, maybe they do too. And they are supposed to have some great bars and restaurants in Boston.

I went to the funniest restaurant in Boston when I was there. It is called ****'s Last Resort and the waiters and waitresses are so mean to you and throw the utensils...it is pretty funny. They had shirts that said "I got crabs at ****'s Last Resort"!  The night we went it was someone's birthday and they made him wear a hat with a you know what on it and was throwing whip cream at him. Pretty wild!
