Dear DH,

Thank you for turning on the light at 5:20 this morning so you could get ready. I am now exhausted but unable to go back to sleep. I hope you appreciated all those mornings I got ready in the dark so I wouldn't disturb you.

Mine will sit at the edge of the bed too, and put his clothes on and wiggle the bed.. it kills me...lol

I go out of my way to make sure I don't disturb DW. Depending on how cooperative DC are, I'm up an hour or so before DW. The bedroom closet light is usually more than enough light for me to get dressed, and it's indirect, so it doesn't wake up DW. I also know where all of my clothes are, so most of the time, I don't even need that light. My sock drawer hasn't changed in over 10 years, so it doesn't take a genius to figure out where my socks are....

Ugh - I could have written this word for word.

During the school year, I am up way before DH. I lay out my clothes in the guest room, so aside from getting out of bed, I don't even have to go back into the bedroom for anything.

He, however, stomps around like an elephant during the summer while he is getting ready for work.

I loooooooooooove getting up at 6:30 on my days off over the summer.

We are the opposite - I turn on the light to get ready and he doesn't. But he also doesn't wake up for anything!
