Dad tells me my mom as been in pain for two days with a groin pain that is also in her leg.
Great..
I'm trying not to think hip fracture..
This is not happening right?

she'll call the doc Monday. She said advil is helping and she is trying not to get me worried.
The pain goes into her knee too. She said, she thinks she pulled a muscle. She says it feels like a muscle pull. Maybe it is.

I just read the Webmd syptoms because why not make myself nuts right? Well, her symptoms are exactly that of a hip fracture.
i am making myself nuts.
she is 72 and has osteoporosis.
eta: it could also be a groin pull..let's hope for that.

I learned a long time, don't look on the internet for information...it'll only drive you insane.
If she is feeling better with Advil, it may just be a pulled muscle. Don't stress until she sees the Dr.
My prayers are with her, hopefully it's just a pulled muscle.

Seriously, at times like these, the Internet is your enemy. I've been a victim of it myself at times, and we all KNOW we're just making ourselves crazy by looking up symptoms. Hope it's a muscle pull, and wait for the doctor's diagnosis. I really hope everything's ok!

i really hope so. It just seems that all symptoms point to it.
That would mean that my folks would not be moving here any time soon. It's easily a 12 week rehab.
Then for sure my brother would stay with us..
wow..domino effect.
Ok, I'm just going to wait for the doc..hopefully it's a pull or maybe just arthritis. hey, the advil helped!
