Please help me find a place for DH 40th in Nov
On the south shore, I was looking at the carriage house in Babylon. Im looking to have the party on sat night with a dj. any ideas please. He is going to be gone this weekend, so I wanted to look at places then.

I am throwing DH a surprise 30th that is actually this Thursday night.....so needless to say I am a lunatic right now but trying to let him know...It is at Molly Malones in Bayshore and they have been great so far. I will let you know how it is after Thursday night, but so far I am completely impressed with the place, the owners, and the staff!!

Katie Dalys in Massapequa is great. I had my DH's surprise party there last year and loved the place and the food. We had a band - they have room for a band/dj and a dancefloor.

Thanks. I was also thinking of them. I have heard good things about them.
So I think it is going to be between Molly malones and capt bills.
Can you have a dj at molly malones?

bridgeview yacht club in Island park - they have an upstairs room that holds 65 - 75 ppl and charge ~ $55 for buffet

Yes, you can have a DJ at Molly Malones. We are bringing one in for tomorrow night. They have an area for the DJ or band and they set up there.Good Luck!! I will let you know how tomorrow night goes. I am expecting great things and I am sure it will be.

Just got home from DH's surprise 30th!! He was shocked! It was awesome!! It was at Molly Malone's in Bayshore!!! The food was incredible and it was such a great party. I HIGHLY recommend it!! The price was right too!!!

My sister just went to a 30th birthday at Katie Daly's. They have a party room in the basement.
The last time I was at KD's, we were in the basement. IDK, something about it reminded me of being at my bf's house when we were kids. It was spacious, but not very fancy looking.
I'd suggest:
Captain Bill's in Bay Shore
Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip
I'll post again when I think of more...
