Reasonable alterations?
Does anyone have any reccommendations for a good place to go for inexpensive and good alterations in Queens, Brooklyn, or Nassau? I went to my local dry cleaner, and the dress that I bought was going to cost $65 to have the top taken in b/c it had bone in it that would have to be moved! That's half the price of the dress!

It has been a while since I have lived in Forest Hills, but if the Mens Warehouse is still on Austin Street go there. I got to the one up here in Westchester all the time and they do a great job. Everytime I am in a wedding, I take the dress there to be done. They have great, professional tailors that do a great job. I even had my nieces flowergirls dress done there.
