Grrrrrr.....
Damn Damn Damn.
I still can't get into my building on Monday so I was asked to take a weeks vacation or get laid off (with my union I'd get a different job somewhere else but who knows where).
I have no desire to take a week off in the middle of the summer when DH is working every day. There is no chance that he can take off a day or even leave early.
This really blows monkey butt. I've already cleaned the apartment the last two days off. What the heck am I going to do next week?!?!?

Yeah, now that I have had a little time to digest, I've made some calls to the other unemployed friends/family and made some plans, so I'm not completely hopeless for next week. Maybe I'll even surprise DH with a packaged lunch
And the monkey butt thing.... I don't know, that's just my favorite non-cursing, but still annoyed curse. Always makes me feel better. And besides, I don't think I can get away with un#uckingbelievable.

I used to work at JFK, then I worked at Creedmore (With my own kind of people).
I'm an electrician so I go where the work is with the company that I am currently with. Some electricians stay in one place for years, others move all over.
