So it's 12 midnight & I have NO idea where DH is...............UPDATE at 1:30 AM
.......I DO know that last night he decided to tell me he was having dinner with an old college friend instead of going to one of our best friends 50th Bday party. I was abit annoyed, but he hasn't seen him in a while, so I sort of let it go.
WELL......it's 12 midnight, I am home & he is not answering his phone nor is there a note.............dinner could not be 5 FREAKING hours could it?!!!!!
UPDATE*************
Let me preface this by saying we live in a basement apartment & our AC is the window that looks out front so I can not see out there or hear anything!!!!
It is now 1:30 AM. SOMETHING said to look outside. There they are sitting in front of the house
I just freaked out and ask why the HELL he hasn't answered his phone. He forgot it at work he says.
COULD YOU HAVE AT LEAST COME IN TO SAY YOU WERE HOME
I am LIVID right now

UGH- How frustrating...it's one thing to be out this late but to not be answering your phone, as my hubby would say, now that's just disrespectful

I hear you. I'm sure he's just lost track of time or is somewhere loud and can't hear his phone ringing. Or maybe his phone ran out of battery. I'm the same way too though, can't fall asleep until I at least know where he is.

i get pizzed when dh doesnt answer me too.
he could have called from his friends phone!!!!!
but at least he didnt get hoem too late.

We did not have cellphones when we first got married (no one really had them) and my dh would stay out and I could not get ahold of him. I know exactly what you went through!

He says he forgot his cell phone at work. I said, hey your buddy had a phone & I KNOW there is a payphone in tha bar........
His answer?
"Oh if I called I thought I would wake you."
OK.......so instead it's better to have no idea where you are then to be woken? He knows m ewell enough to know I wasn't sleeping......he was making up lame excuses
I am still so angry cause all he could say was how he figured he would wake me & then I would get mad.
I KNOW that is BS......he just was inconsiderate & won't admit it

Possible yes.......BUT on several other occasions in similar situations, I have ALWAYS told him if I am unaware he is running late I would rather the phone call and be woken.
In my case last night I couln't even get to sleep .......and he KNOWS this is how I am!!!!!
Anyhow........things are mostly OK now.....he did apologize......and I am SURE he gets my point now!!!
