Re: bedding help
Paint the color you want and then pick the bedding, the paint is going to make the much bigger impression and last longer.

Re: bedding help
I almost changed my bedding when I saw this one in the store! I love it!! My favorite part is the mobile with the little hat.

Re: bedding help
i can't really see the bedding colors close up - it looks mostly tan? if that's true, then i probably wouldn't go with a yellow on the wall - doesn't look like it would match...

Re: bedding help
Tan bedding will probably go with any paint color. I used a really really oale yesllo on the top of my nursery wall. It's BM Yellow Freeze. I also think a light green would look great!

Re: bedding help
I would go to the nearest paint store and grab every single card that had a shade of yellow I liked and then bring it back to the store with the bedding. I'm sure you'll find one that matches.

Re: bedding help
I love them both but I do think the second would go better with a yellow. That BM yellow freeze is a great color-did you look at swatches. We brought them to the store when we picked our bedding. Good luck!

Re: bedding help
You should go to a benjamin moore paint store and get a bunch of sample cards...or home depot (Home depot doesn't carry BM but Behr is also a good paint)...then bring them to the store where you registered for the bedding and compare. Thats what I did before we painted. Then I bought the valance and got the small sample jars of the paints I wanted...and we painted small patches on the wall to make sure it matched the valance.
I think a pale yellow would match that original bedding you posted. Actually, the color I used is called pale straw (BM) and it looks yellow to me in person, yet matches my bedding exactly which is mostly beige...very strange!! Heres the pic...and there are a few more pics in my album

Re: bedding help
I think the yellow will look nice with that bedding. What color is your crib? If it's a light natural color the walls, crib and beddng may blend in with each other. In that case I would pick another wall color. However if you crib is a darker wood I think the yellow with that bedding will be beautiful.

This actually looks wonderful with yellow on the walls (it's exactly what we have ) I think if you go with the first bedding set, the greener paint would offset the bedding a little nicer

thanks so much! love that color Dana! I"m going to do that with the swatches. I'd like to go with a pecan color crib.
