I want to kill my DH, do you think I'll be ok?

My DH just told me that he accidently touched Poison Ivy leaves yesterday during work. He said he scrubbed his hands really well and stuff before he touched me.

I'm nervous now Do you think I'll be alright? I'm feeling itchy just thinking about it now.

I don't know about Poison Ivy. I'd call the dr. I'd also look up info on the internet to see if he can be contagious.

Its the oil from the poison ivy that is the irritant so if he washed his hands he should be fine..BUT I would make sure that he washes his clothes too b/c they could be carrying the oils too...Poison Ivy is not contracted from person to person in the sense that the rash is the contagious part it would be that the person is still carrying the oils on either themselves or their clothes or they have spread the oils to some part of the house....

Try doing a search on poison ivy & pregnancy. It's most likely just a topical affliction & you'll be fine even if you do get a rash.

I work with a woman who had a VERY bad case of poison ivy when she was pregnant with her first child and both she and baby were fine.
