swiffer for hardwood
UGGGHHHH IT LEFT STREAKS!!!! i'm so upset. i got the special hardwood floor solution and the floors look terrible!! did i do something wrong or is this everyone's experience with swiffer wetjet

I use swiffer wet on my hardwood and I never noticed any streaks

it leaves streaks for me  I only use it on the pergos. I have the bruce hardwood floor cleaner (got it at Home Depot) and it works great.

I wonder why it does on some and not others

I wouldn't use wet swiffers on hardwood or laminate. Best thing to do is vacuum the floor and buy the dry swiffer and "spray" a 1 part water/1 part vinegar solution and wipe lightly. It removes streaks and cleans.

The regular swiffer solution is fine on my hardwood floor but the swiffer hardwood solution leaves streaks on my floor too.

thanks i'll try that. sorry to hear everyone else is having problems too..i hate that!!

I know on my mom's real hard wood the floors the normal solution works fine but the wood solution left a residue for some reason.

I just used it the other day on my hardwood floors. I dont think it left streaks but I washed the floor first with a vinegar solution.

I always use the swiffer on my wood floors. I've never had a problem. They actually sell th eswiffer liquid solution for hardwood floors. I luv my swiffer!

Mine leaves streaks too. I dont use it anymore.
I either use vinegar, or now Im LOVING Murphy's Oil

I use Bruce's Hardwood Floor cleaner, it works great and it has a swiffer type mop.....no streaks and smells nice too!
