Who's found out or going to find out what they're having?

I feel like I'm the only one who doesn't want to know what we're having....maybe I'll change my mind when that time comes but just curious.

I wanted to know the second i found out we were preggos. I love know - i sing to her, call her by her name, etc.

I am going to find out. I was never one for suprises and used to search for my christmas presents early. I figured if I know then I can decide what color to paint the nursery.

I know lots of people who don't find out. I give them credit for being able to hold out. Many people tell me that I shouldn't find out so it can be a suprise. I figured I will be suprised at 20 weeks instead of 40.

you're not alone. we are waiting. i really want to know, but i don't want to ruin the surprise.

DH and I said we would not find out because we wanted a suprise. After a few months we both changed our minds. We found out during the level II and it was still a suprise. I would not have found out if DH wasnt present. It is nice to know now because we can give a nice little boys theme room and have boyish clothes for him. Everyone has different opinons on this though so do what you feel right doing.

I decided to find out for a few reasons.
I am a big planner, and I really wanted the nursery to be gender specific. Also, if it was a boy, DH wouldn't have to take his sports memoribilia off the walls. Oh well. Also I just really didn't like any gender neutral bedding. (that was just a small reason).
Also, I really felt disconnected from this baby. I don't feel pregnant, except when i feel a little movement, and I really needed to know the sex so I can feel a bit more connected and not think of her as an "it".
Also, I'm just impatient and I don't like surprises.

I hate surprises.. They actually annoy me..

DH wants to know (although he changes his mind about this randomly). I prefer to wait until the baby is delivered and hear the MD say "it's a _____" at that moment.

I LOVE surprises and IMHO this is the best one that life has to offer. In addition to that, as with wedding planning, during pregnancy it is all about us, the women, not about the man. BUT the day that child is born it is the new father that gets to tell EVERYONE in the waiting room whether or not it is a or - it is HIS moment to shine. I love my DH way too much to even consider depriving him of that moment.

I was surprised enough when I found out I was pregnant.

I want the room to be gender specific, I want to use the baby's name when I talk about him/her, and I want to stop writing him/her or (s)he every time I post.

I normally hate surprises, but this is the exception. We are waiting. I am not really decorating a nursery b/c we are renting and hope to buy a house shortly after we have the baby, so that is not really a concern for us.

We're waiting until we give birth...He'd rather know now, but I convinced him that we are going to wait.

i had to find out. i'm 'practical' -- hahhah! i wanted to go shopping ASAP! needed to know the gender so i could buy the appropriate things that and plus i saw baby's penis on the monitor by accident. =D

We wanted to know and we were able to find out.

We are waiting til the big day. We just personally felt like it was something we wanted to be surprised about, I didn't want to know or have everyone else know already, I felt like it would take away from that big moment in the hospital when my husband could walk out and say to the family "It's a boy/girl".

We decorated the room very neutral which I preferred, I really didn't want all blue or pink anyway.

What's so great is that it's your chose and you have the right to decide.

I could go either way.............I'm sure I will find out but I don't have an overwhelming need to know though. I knew what the first was an that was cool so I'll probably find out again.
