How much are you spendng n the bursery besides furniture?
We bought a $100 lamp
Carpeting 500
Boat bookshelf 160
Blinds 75
Refinishing grandmas rocker ???
Light fixture 100
Oar coau hanger (we are dong a nautical theme) 70
Plus all the extra wall stuff
I feel ike it is REALLY adding up, we dont even have furniture yet....

We spent $20. Including our furniture.
I wouldn't go nuts decorating just yet, I got a bunch of decorative stuff at my shower to go with my bedding.

We spent about $1,000 to re-do the guest bedroom into a nursery aside from the furniture that MIL bought.

Window treatment $200
Paint/Chair rail $250
Other decorative items so far $150
Good thing the IL's are paying for our furniture & wood floors!!!

We spent $300 for a rug - that was it.
We bought the crib - $329 (or something like that)
and we bought the changing table ($130)
We got the glider for $250 (or something like that - and we used money we received from the shower)
That was it - we didn't see spending a ton of money - especially at the time it wasn't our house and that she wouldn't be using this stuff for a long period of time

ok i dot feel too bad thouhg, its gonna look so nice plus we are doing a nautical theme so he will be good in there till hes like 10...its not too baby like-more little boyish...

Bedding - $350 (gift)
Paint: $100
Crown Molding - $95
Bunny Rabbit Curtain Rod - $70
Still need wall decor and possibly buying an area rug
