Re: Eastchester?
I use to live in Tuckahoe, which is right outside of Eastchester. Eastchester is pricey, you definitely won't get a lot for your money and the taxes are high as well. In terms of diversity, there are many churches there, synogagues..etc. It's very convenient, the city is only 30 minutes away and of course, Lord and Taylor is smack in the middle of Eastchester. White Plains is 10 minutes away, which has become a miniature NYC. I loved living there, which DH and I affectionetly refer to as "down county". I hope this helps.

Re: Eastchester?
My BIL is selling his house in Eastchester (he is relocating for his job). Please FM if you are interested. They live off of Rt. 22 (which is off the Hutch Pkwy at Exit 17).

Re: Eastchester?
I live in Yonkers and my cousin lives in Eastchester. It is a beautiful area with great schools, however, she pays $20,000 in taxes on a pretty small house with not much land.

Re: Eastchester?
My DH grew up in Eastchester and loved it. We hope to move back if we can ever afford it.
