DH still isn't home
He's been on the LIRR for 3.5 hours now. Plus yesterday he had a 9am flight to Phoenix, had a meeting there in the late afternoon, took the red eye home, got to our house at 6am and then back on the train at 10am. He's so tired, I feel awful for him.

That's so funny you post this because I was about to post the same thing. My husband got on a 7:20 train and half an hour ago was only in Westbury. Commuting really really suc*s!!!!!

Just got back from picking him up 5 stations away. Once they finally got past Jamaica, the switches and signals on the Babylon line are out, so for every one they'd have to stop the train 1/4 mile away, someone walk up, verify the tracks were switched right, walk back. I finally told him to get off and I'd have my mom come over and stay with the kids while I went for him. Took me over 30 mins to get there, the train was just leaving the station past where he got off.
