Back from the Dr....
So I had a regular checkup today...all is measuring well, the baby's head is down (thankfully) and heartbeat is great. I tested borderline for anemia now and the Dr. gave me a script for iron pills...I really dont want to take them, since they can cause constipation...but I will for the baby's sake. I eat so much red meat(I still have an aversion to chicken even at 34 weeks!) so I dont really know why I am borderline...I am going to up my intake of spinach!!! Any other advice?

I was told not to eat dairy near the time I take any medication with iron. That's about all I know. Good luck!!

Just good luck with the iron pills. I share your aversion to chicken still at 25 weeks also.

I had to take Iron pills also (Slowfe) and it really wasn't bad at all. I would take them with my prenatals right before bed.

I have been taking Repliva Iron pills and I do not have any constipation problems at all. Just take your iron pills and good luck!

I have been on REpliva too, and w/o taking the Colace 2x- 3X a day, I would be in trouble. Ask your Dr about Colace( stool softener if you are worried.)
The colace is a BIG help
