When to find a pediatrician?
When do you start your search for this? How do you go about interviewing a pediatrician? What do you ask?

We did this pretty late. I asked ob/gyn for a recommendation. I also asked on the parenting board....I went with that dr since they both recommended the same.
I called the ped office and they gave us an appt about 2 weeks before I was induced. He actually had a whole thing he went through and then we asked any questions that he didnt cover

We waited a bit long too..we just went last week or so 37 wks. We asked my ob/gyn for recs & then also asked on here. I got a good feel for them. We actually met w/ 1 & loved them & decided to go w/ them. As the above poster said, he went through everything his practice offers & then asked if we had any q's at the end; basically they know what you want to hear.

we waited till i was in the last trimester, i started interviewing Peds when i was like 35-37 weeks
