Is this too much for my bedroom?

I have ivory/cream walls, and this is the bedding that I am going to buy once it goes on sale.

Are these curtains too much with the bedding set, or do you think it will pull the whole look together. I'm going for a romantic, garden inspired look.

Thanks!

ETA: I haven't seen them together in the store. Would they have to match 100% or just compliment each other?

Honestly, I'd go with a more white curtain with green on it, esp since the two greens may not match btw the bed set and the curtains.

Re: Is this too much for my bedroom?

I think I would probably go with a plain green curtain that matched the green on the comforter. It would add some pizzazz on the cream walls, without having competing patterns.

ETA: The two patterns could work together as long as the window is on an opposite wall. It is hard to tell. They are both gorgeous though!

I like them together. I love color! I would see if the patterns compete or make the room overwhelming, but other than that, I think they would look good together.

I like them together, but would wait to add any more green. Looks a little girly too, so I hope the DH is good with it. (But I like it being a girl!)

Luckily, my DH is okay with the bedding Chat Icon He doesn't know about the curtains. But now on second thought, I may want the curtains less girly.

i like them both, but think it might be too much pattern for the bedroom.... i would maybe do a solid green curtain that matches the green on the bedspread...

IMO, it is a little busy. i would opt for a more neutral colored panel (a solid ivory/cream w/ a band of coordinating green trim). try and match the panel color w/ the wall color.

How far away is the bed from the windows?

Whenever I look at home decorating magazines or what DIY or HGTV, the designers never match things exactly and it always looks so darn good!

I think if the window isn't right on top of the bed, it will look very pretty.

I love that look

as long as the walls are ivory/white and the window is not above the headboard of the bed

While I like both...it's too much for my taste. But, if you love it...who cares what we think!!!!!!!!!
