How much ice cream will I need?

I'm having an ice cream party for 30 children. How many containers do you think I'll need and do you think it's bad to buy the store brand?

how old are the kids? are yuou making sundaes are just putting it on top of cake?

I would think about four 1/2 gallons. I personally dont like the store brands of ice cream, but I guess you could. YOu could also get those big buckets of ice cream.

They are 6 and 7. I don't like store brand either, but I'm not spending 6 dollars on Breyers either for them. The sundaes are sundaes, not for cake or anything.

If you belong to costco, you could get maybe 3 tubs of single flavor ice cream. Chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. That will probably be way too much ice cream, but better than running out. You'll have it for the rest of the summer.

The supermarket always has ice cream on sale this time of year, but if you need to, buy store brand. Like they're going to care, it's ice cream! Anyway, for 30 kids, I'd say 5 tubs. But I'm bad at estimating

for a b-day party I would def get the big tubs they sell at BJ's or Cosco, as long as you have the freezer space
