nursery help....
so I have my babies bedding and we ordered a nice blue rug for the room...but I am torn on what color to do the walls! Here is the bedding
bedding
notice the curtain is blue (Like the rug), thats really all you will see when you walk into the room...
HELP! The furniture is coming in a week or so and the room is undone!

What a about a very light blue? We did that... it looks like the sky. Very soothing. We used Disney paint called Mickey Sailor.

aww, I love this bedding set. I am doing a nautical theme too, and also wondering what color to paint. I was thinking pale yellow, but hubby wants blue...I am just trying to think of a way to break up all the blue.

I had the same concern...too much blue... so I like the yellow idea, I just don't want highlighter yellow! I want it to look like a boys room...
MrsDiamondgrlie, I like the way you contrasted the blue with different shades of it. LOVE the puppy in the crib! haha...

We have the Twinkle Twinkle set from PBK which is the same yellow as your set and we painted Benjamin Moore Little Dipper and it matches almost identically...

I think a pale yellow would be nice...we are having a girl, but we went with yellow walls..."Filtered sunlight" by benjamin moore - it's soft and not too lemon/banana/highlighter....it might offer a nice contrast to the blue in the rug and the valance.

you know what I'm seeing? Since I think you can pull any of those colors out to paint with - what about doing 4 different colors? 1 blue, 1 yellow, 1 green and one red (not sure about the red...maybe white?)
