Need help Re: Invitations
Okay, need to order invites for DS's baptism, but I am torn.
I do not want to spen an arm and a leg but want nice invites.
I need 60, and decided to compromise w/ DH. I was going to order 25 printed nice invites for family and close friends then get write in invites for everyone else. DH said "Just get write in ones for everyone"
I have not found ANY (write in or printed) invites I love. Found some I like but nothing I LOVE.
Please recommend invites--prefer online that you can preview before ordering, for the printed ones. I want something different, and not with a photo.
TIA!!

Re: Need help Re: Invitations
I bought my paper at Party City and printed up my own. It was tan paper with "stick on" crosses. I really think it was supposed to be for Communions, but, I used it and everyone loved the invite.

Re: Need help Re: Invitations
I learned from my wedding, don't spend big $$$ on something most people will lose or throw away.

Re: Need help Re: Invitations
Buy card stock from Party City, Michaels, Staples etc... and make your own.
I did this for my engagement invites, rehearsal dinner & my brothers engagement party. They looked like I had them done & were very inexpensive.

Re: Need help Re: Invitations
there's a girl on here that makes them... i used her to make my rehearsal dinner invites (among other things) for my wedding and they came out beautiful. her website is cjbdesigns.com. she'll pretty much do whatever you want though. i ordered the cardstock online, had it shipped to her - and after telling her exactly what i wanted, she emailed me proofs via email and that was that. totally recommend her.

Have you tried Hallmark? They are pretty reasonable and will print them for you in the store.

Re: Need help Re: Invitations
I think they are easy to make yourself... and you can then customize what you like / don't like.
Michaels and Target have beautiful paper invites that you print yourself.
I really like the Anna Griffin line that Michaels carries... Anna Griffin Invites
I made these engagement party invites for a friend of mine... I also made Christening invites for my god-daughter but I don't have pics online of those (sorry).
ETA: Kate's Paperie also has amazing paper products!!!
