I'm a big failure!
Well, I have failed my 1 hour glucose test... bummer!
Get to go back on Monday for the 3 hour!
I am going to think that I am one of the people that fail the first time and pass the second time... kinda like the way I got through Physics in college!
(looking back, I probably shouldn't have eaten that chocolate chocolate chip muffin the day of the 1 hour test... oops... they did say eat like normal!)
Any other ladies out there fail the 1 hour and pass the 3 hour????

Dont worry the 1 hour is just a screening test...only something like 15% of ladies that fail the 1 hour will have GD...ME, most likely, being one of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to go on Monday for my 3 hour too...Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!!

I failed the 1 hr & then passed the 3 hr with flying colors (according to the dr). The waiting during the 3 & 1/2 hrs was horrible though

very common to fail 1 hour and pass the 3 hour - good luck.
I passed my 3 hour even with having GD in my last pregnancy!!

i failed my 1 hr miserably, and the dr was pretty sure i wouldnt pass the 3 hr...and thankfully did...not with flying colors i should add, but i did pass!!!

I had cinnamon buns the night before my 1 hour - I'm thinking that's why i failed? I passed the 3 hour

i was told to fast for the 1hr and i did and passed. try fasting for the 3 hr

I'm so nervous about this. I'm sorry you failed. I absolutely freak when having blood drawn so the 3-hour would be absolute torture for me. I was told to eat NOTHING the morning/day of by some friends of mine so that's what I hopefully will do. It's early in the morning anyway.
