Is anyone watching tonight? I missed the premiere last week, so im hoping to "catch on" starting with tonights episode.

I'll be watching. I missed the first 1/2 hr or so of the premiere so I was a little lost too but it seemed kinda weak to me.

I was hoping to catch a rerun on cnbc or msnbc but never got the chance.
I know who got fired last week though, cuz WPLJ played a clip on Friday.

Bleh I dunno, I'm not feeling this show for some reason this season  So far I'm just bored, but maybe its me

I totally think Trump made the right call. He gave that guy like 3 chances in the boardroom to bring in someone else and he blew it. He even said that he didn't think they lost the task because of markus. He got fired because he was a dumbazz.
As soon as he said he only wanted to bring in markus, I knew he was done.

I agree.
Marcus is annoying, but he certainly didn't have any input into the creative. Being a manager means giving everyone a role in the project and managing the annoying and the not annoying....

When I saw Marcus not only show disloyally to his team, but to do so in front of the Lamborgini people, I kept thinking Trump probably wanted to fire him right then and there.
But once they got to the boardroom, it was clear the focus was on the terrible campaign and Chris kept focusing on Markus being difficult. Then he showed bravado by not bringing anyone else to the boardroom including the guy that made all the big mistakes. For those reasons he deserved to go...but I was hoping for double firing because they were both awful.

No- I don't think dissention is the biggest no- no at all. I think he shouldn't have done it in front of people, but at the same time- I think you can't just "drink the kool aid"
that's how businesses go under- when you have group think.

In the end, the Apprentice is really not a team competition so while the fact that Markus did his little "I told you so" thing in front of everyone was disloyal to the team, ultimately, it wasn't why they lost the task.
And since he was relieved of much responsibility by the PM, he couldn't really be blamed for the loss.
