Stretch Marks
So I spotted my first one today. I am so depressed because I am not even that big yet, but I could feel my tummy stretching so much this weekend. Did anyone else start this early?? I am only 23 weeks. I would not be so sad if I was at least in my third trimester, but I feel like this is just a sign of things to come, and I am going to have them really bad, and there is nothing I can do about it.

Re: Stretch Marks
some people swear by cocoa butter, I know there's no remedy but it might help.

I have been using it, hoping to stave off the marks as LOOONG as possible.
I just already have horrible body issues, this is not going to help in the least

Re: Stretch Marks
Dont worry so much...they dont stay red forever....they pretty much fade to normal skin cover. They never really bothered me. I kind of always felt that I earned them....
Look at my pregnant belly on my profile..those are 8 year old stretch marks.

there is no cure and no real prevention. i've managed to not get any on my belly after 2 pregnancies, but my boobs, they are COVERED. it's funny in a way b/c i am a tiny woman and thus not very big boobs...so to have all these stretch marks on teeny boobs is comical to me. i covered myself in lotion quite liberally each and every day...the belly apparently could take the stretching, the boobs could not. doesn't really make much sense, I guess God has a sense of humor.

same here so far, i am almost 39 weeks and didn't get any stretch marks on my stomach, but got some more on my boobs (i already had some on my hips and boobs from puberty) and the previous ones on my hips seem to be more obvious now that the skin is stretched, oh well its worth it for the end result!!

same here! none on my belly but my boobs have some nice red marks that I assume are stretch marks. So strange...I never thought I would get them on my boobs...
