Office Showers
How much do you give for a co-worker's office shower present if they have the same position as you and you see them every day?

I have been invited to many an office shower. some of them I barely knew  I have given anywhere from $10-$20. if it's for a friend I contribute $20 and buy her my own gift.

i voted b/s $1 and $10, because usually a card/folder goes around and everyone just puts in what they can. and its usually about 40 people so it adds up.

I do the same. I'll contribute $20 for the group gift, but then I'll buy something off the registry after the event (baby, wedding etc...)
