Anyone go to SIRM or see Dr. Braverman?
I made an appt with him for a consultation to discuss my irregular cycles and see if I have PCOS. What can I expect?
Thanks!

I have seen Dr. Braverman. He is a good Dr. His nurse leaves a bit to be desired-I was not happy with her and ultimately she is the reason why I left. I am a demanding patient though so I may not be the best judge. PCOS is supposedly one of the easiest IF problems to fix. But he will have you do CD 3 bloodwork and probably a glucose tolerance test. He will want to do a vaginal sono and possibly an hsg and/or and endometrial biopsy. They will probably prescribe metformin and/or Clomid. GL

I went to SIRM in NYC - Dr Batzofin - and I can't say good enough things about him and his staff (although it sounds like there may have been a few changes in his support staff recently, the key players are still the same).
Good luck!
