Ok I've had it with my neighbors!
Today the sound system for outside their house went on at 7:40 am. I don't need to hear "I feel good" then! DH is finally going to go talk to them. They have it on for literally up to 10 hours a day on weekends, it's too loud, and they keep it blasting even when nobody is outside. This morning was the straw that broke the camel's back!

There are Rules, I think it has to be after 10am and no later then 11pm. I would talk to them. Otherwise its going to be a long weekend

i am so sorry, we had awful neighbors too and one day i came home and they were moving out keep positive thoughts

DH didn't want to go yet...he said he would go later in the day. They haven't started this early in a long time, but the stereo is on every single day! They were in the pool by 8 am b/c the kids had a sleepover. That's ridiculous! DH is very shy so he'll need some coaxing, but if I go I'll explode!
I can't believe the messages they send their children about what is acceptable and courteous to others. Then I wonder, as an educator, why the messages I send about how to treat others don't stick!

There is no "time" rule as long as it does not annoy people. I went to a party one time and the neighbors complained at 3:00 in the afternoon about their loud salsa music. The cop said it doesn't matter what time of day or night it is. You can play your music as early or late as you want but if someone complains, they need to lower it or turn it off.
