first RE appointment?
I have my first consultation with the RE this week. Did you bring your charts to your first appointment? Do you usually get an exam at the consultation? (I hope not, because I have AF.)

Re: first RE appointment?
I don't know what the norm is but I brought all my records with me and I also had an exam while AF was in town. It was towards the end of my cycle but they still wanted to do the internal since I was already at the office.
GOOD LUCK!!!

Re: first RE appointment?
I brought all my charts with me, my Dr glanced over them but would not use them as concrete evidence for anything. I to received an exam that day- intravaginal sonogram if I am correct. I also had an internal.
I also brought a notebook witha whole bunch of questions.
HTH-
Good luck

I brought all my records and a list of questions (there's a thread here about questions). He did do an internal sono and exam.

This is good advice, I would also take a pen & paper to take any notes. You will have to get used to the internals, they do them frequently, don't worry about having AF, this is what these Dr.'s do for a living they are used to it. Good luck
