Freddy in the house
Looks like Jamaica Hospital will also take him. I will see that facility on Monday and then make a decision.
He will probably be medically cleared by early next week.
Too bad they leave him in bed so much though. They say he gets too agitated to keep in a chair long. They supposedly put him in a chair today. I don't know how it went.
I'm learning that as great as St. Francis is, they really can't handle the long term patient that is concious. He really needs rehab asap.

all turned him down..two don't have dialysis so I knew that but I was surprised that Mt. Sinai turned him down. They have a level 1 Brain trauma unit...sometimes it's the notes that sell him or not.
Oh well, I guess it's ok. The two places that will accept him are closer and we can see him more and have excellent TBI programs.
Soon I have to find him a place to live. One bedroom apt first floor that's handicap accessible. I wonder how hard that is. I also hope that he is well enough to live independently..with some help.
Can I ask...more good luck prayers and wishes for the man who outran death 3 times?

I knew there would be some place out there that could help him. And I hear Jamaica has an excellent program.
 That things keep moving forward and Freddy continues to make improvements!

my sister in laws sister was just visiting him and his butt is so sore from laying there and he's had diarreah so much. She finally yelled at them and told them what to use on him. I can't believe it got this bad and I didn't know it. His butt hurt more than his amputated leg!
I'm so sad now thinking about how much it hurt.
She also said he is remembering a lot more now and is even more alert although he has said some stuff that was highly inappropriate to her..we laughed about it. She's a twin and I think he thought she was his ex (her sister)
He doesn't remember why he's in the hospital though and she had to remind him.
