Nope, I never found out who left it. I asked a couple of obvious suspects, and they said no. And I feel weird walking around the office saying "did you leave me a cookie? how about you, did you leave me a cookie?"
I'm anxiously awaiting someone to walk into my office and say "So, how was the cookie!"
