CUPCAKES
I need to buy around 30-35 cupcakes for a bridal shower next Saturday. Can anyone recommend a good place to buy nice sized cupcakes around the Queens/Nassau border??
I know Magnolia and Buttercup are good for their cupcakes but I won't have time to get to the city the day of the shower...I need something local

buttercooky and sapienza bake shops both have great cupcakes..
Buttercooky is in floral park
and sapienza is in franklin square!

there is a buttercooky in Manhasset also and it is soooooo good. I am getting hungry just thinking about it!

I recently got cupcakes from a new bakery in Wantagh called Slap Happy that were soooo good. Even my daughter ate hers, and she usually just plays with them.

Ther is a great place in my neighborhood ( Astoria, Queens)
the bakery is called Marthas Coutnry Bakery.
they have so many different kinds- even Red Velvet and they are SO GOOD!!!
The bakery is on Ditamrs Blvd. and 36th st or 37th st. On corner--- I would compare them to Magnolia
