My parents went there and I took the trip with them. It cost thousands of dollars to join and when you go you're only invited once. If you decline, then you're NEVER allowed to go back- it's their way of making it high pressure so you feel obligated to buy.

we went, we didnt sit through the presentation
i just felt it was such a scam, from the first words out of the guys mouth
once he said that u had to make a decision to join today or else ur never allowed back, we said no thanks, and just walked out the door and never looked back

My inlaws joined when they renovated their basement. They paid the hefty $$ to get in and then got jerked around BIG TIME! They had to kinda "settle out of court" to get their membership millions back ...

My friends joined and wished they didnt, yes even the annula fees are thousands of dollars.
They also said they really werent getting that much of a better deal then the stores.
Plus if you are just redoing 1 or 2 rooms it is not worth it, only if you just bought a brand new house and plan on doing the whole house.

good grief
we were going to go there next week for a presentation. yeah we're building a whole house, but geesh 5 grand in membership fees nice - no wonder they wouldnt tell me that when i asked on the phone.
anyone have a good experience with this place?
thinking of telling them to forget it - does that mean they are going to spend the next year calling me 100 times a day ???

according to all the stories I read, save yourself time, stress and your $5K!! these people said the prices weren't even that great and that you can get the same deals if you look hard enough online!
