I also agree about adding in cost of braces, in my parents divorce my dad was responsible for medical dental but not braces and left my mom with the entire bill.

Also be careful about lawyers. Sometimes I feel that they can cause more problems and arguments. Both of my parents spent SOO much money on their divorce attorneys. That money could have been used for college for myself and my sisters but instead is in the attorneys hands.

One more note, I am almost certain that even if college tuition is included in divorce settlement it can not be inforced that a parent have to pay.

Another thing was that they my mom didn't have to sell our house until my youngest sister graduated from high school.
