I'm Not Going to see Freddy tonight
I have tremendous guilt. I'm a good sister. I know I am. I'm just done..stick a fork in me.
I can't even hold my head up at my desk. Can't wait for my train ride home so I can snooze.
Nobody came to see Lt. Dan today. His kids are busy and my cousin was going to go but hasn't yet. She may arrive later though.
He would be so pizzed if he knew I was calling him that.
Very therapuetic to write this here..thanks for listening.

My sister in law's sister is going tonight. When she found out I couldn't go she felt bad.
I owe her big time!
Tomorrow I am going in the afternoon and my sister in law and his youngest is going in the afternoon. My cousin is going in the evening.
The nurse talked me off the ledge and told me to stay home and take care of myself.

I think the nurse is taking care of both of you. You're going to burn out even more if you don't take breaks once in awhile.

You know I lived through this too. I will say it over and over. You are allowed to have a break. You have been an incredible sister and Fred knows this.

I'm living through this now too... between working full-time, taking care of a fiesty toddler, and running back and forth to the hospital every day to visit my dad, I'm just about broken. I have a cold I haven't been able to shake for over a week now because I'm just so completely run down.
I'm planning on working home from Friday just so I can recoup a little.
My point? You need to take care of yourself. You're no good to anyone if you fall apart. You've been, and will continue to be an amazing sister, you don't need to be a martyr. Take a day off, rest without guilt, and give him your all the next time you see him
