So annoyed at DH!!! He dosen't even know..

How old his own father is!!!! I wanted since the summer to do something for my FIL's 65th bday. I thought he was turning 65 this Oct. DH INSISTED that he is turning 64 and to do something next year for 65.
Well guess what???????? My mil just confrimed with me that its 65 this year!! His bday is Oct. 1st so its way to late to do anything
Plus they have a wedding that day in NJ.

But it lands on a Friday so I would have done something on Sunday instead. Im so upset. My FIL has never ever had a bday party and I really wanted to do this for him

could you do something 1-2 weeks later and make it a surprise party?

Since his b-day is 10/1, if you did something later in the month it would really be a surprise.

My DH is clueless like that too. But its never too late to throw a party. Try and find a restaurant near their house, call and see if they have room and availability, and call people on the phone to see if they can make it. Just do a suprise dinner at a restaurant. It'll will be a little crazy, but not impossible!! I hope everything works out!!

I agree - it could be a week or 2 after his actual bday. I had my Mom's surprise 60th about a month before her bday. She loved it.

I think having a party after would be a great idea. Gives you more time to do things for it and it will surprise him more since he won't think anything would be after. And since your DH couldn't remember his own fathers b-day I would give him extra jobs to help you out planning the party

I also agree, you can do it a week or 2 later, so this way it can throw him off guard a little
