he went years ago with a friend who used to go a lot and often dated teh strippers UGHH , my dh said it was more humorous than anyting else. he went to tone by JFK for his bachelor party and i think he may have been to one on a golf trip upstate since we have been married. that thing doesnt bother me.

Not anymore- except for bachelor parties. But, he used to bounce at one and his girlfriend was a stripper. Uggh, I hate thinking about that!!

DH hasn't gone since he's been with me but he claims to not to like them either. He says it's really stupid because the women are just playing the men and he refuses to fall for it. He says the times he's gone, he hangs out away from them (at the bar or playing pool) and he's never given the strippers any money.

great question. Yes, before we started dating he went to them. Turns out, he thinks he was actually at an "illegal" one because one of the girls grabbed his hand and put it where it's not supposed to go. Then, she propositioned him.
He said that ever since that happened, he was totally grossed out and never stepped foot inside one again. Which is great because I ended my last relationship because the guy was obsessed with strip clubs.

Once in college... upstate NY (Ithaca)... actually it was a regular bar that sold advanced tickets for a "special performance". How good could this stripper have been if she was "working" in Ithaca ?
My DH's philosphy on strip clubs: "Going into a strip club is like a diabetic going into a bakery... it's not like a diabetic can purchase/eat any of the sweets so why torture yourself" Plus he did say, they're always skanky.
OMG when I was in college in Ithaca I went to a strip club with my boyfriend and the football team! I actually think it might have been in Dryden, a seedy little place...Anyway, the women were all at least middle aged and sooo saggy and nasty!
