bad news
So remember how much pain i was saying I was in. I called my doctors and they told me to come in. Well I went in and they did an internal. He said my cervix was still closed shut and that the baby's head is still floating. He said the baby's head is not going into place and is hitting into my pubic bone and that is why it hurts so bad. He said that at this point it is a little concerning and that if in the next two weeks it does not come down that they would start being really concerned and would have to take action(meaning c-section) I am soo upset. I just want this pain to go away and I want my baby to go the right way..... I need some happy messages

Re: bad news
From what you write there is no concern for the baby right? Just for whether or not you need a c-section? I'd just hold on to the happy though of a healthy baby and not think too hard about the way the baby is delivered!

Re: bad news
Would you like to try a few things?
My acupuncturist told me she can help get the baby into position ( but I don't need this yet).
Also - hold a flashlight at your crotch area. The baby will go towards the light.
Put headphones on your very lowest pelvic area - they will also head towards the music.
My birthing instructir said she did thie every single night the last 2 weeks and baby went into position (engaged).... it's non-invasive and certainly worth a try!
Good luck...

Re: bad news
For the bright side:
My sister only found out after being in labor for over 30 hours (yes... 30 hours) that the baby was going down on an angle and was hitting her hip. They could not get the baby to straigthen up to go in the birth canal and she ended up with a c-section after 36 hours. The baby positioned herself just a few weeks before delivery into a transverse position.
At least you know now.

Re: bad news
I'm sorry that you are in so much pain!!! I have read that sometimes the little ones wait until the last minute before deciding to cooperate. Try to stay positive!!!

Re: bad news
as long as the baby is born healthy, there is no "right" way to deliver
