Hotels around ST James
Danielle and I are going to a wedding in St James in June and we were thinking about going the night before so we dont have to get up early the morning of the wedding and drive out there.
Does anyone recommend any hotels around St James or in St James? I am not familiar with that area.
Thanks, Scott

Re: Hotels around ST James
The only one I can think of is the Holiday Inn on 347 in either Stony Brook or Port Jeff. There are a few Bed & Breakfasts in Port Jeff, but I'm not sure if thats what you're looking for. I can't think of anything in St. James....

Okay, then I'm pretty sure the closest one is on 347, about 15 minutes away.....

Maybe Danford's in Port Jeff? Not sure how close it is though.

The Marriott in Islandia is very nice and not far from there. It's right on the LIE so you can go from LIE to Nicolls to 347 to Flowerfield or wherever.

Re: Hotels around ST James
I would do either Danfords or the Three Village Inn... the inn is about 10 minutes closer to St James then Danfords...

Re: Hotels around ST James
There's the Marriott, which is very nice and pretty close. Danfords is close also, but kind of expensive. Three Village Inn is beautiful, not sure of their rates. There is also the Wyndham Windwatch on Motor Parkway, also in Islandia.
Good luck!

Re: Hotels around ST James
I got married in St. James and all my guests stayed at the Hyatt. The hotel was about 15 minutes away.
