Laila is 1/2 of Leilani which means Heavenly flower... My DH didn't want Leilani because a friend of his has that name..so we chose Leila instead. I'm assuming it means Heavenly..LOL. However I looked it up and it means "night beauty"
We are both Puerto Rican...but the name has nothing to do with our nationality...crazy right?
Milani is a combination of my husbands and my name. (Michelle & Daniel) We just changed his name a little. Mi (Michelle) lani (Daniel)
