Why I'm the worst wife ever...but my ILs are even more...
DH's 31st Bday is this Thursday and while I got him a gift (that he's already opened) I didn't plan anything else. Last year we went out for dinner and kept it simple since we were getting married one week later.
So I'm on the phone with Enrique/Ricardo (DH) this morning and he suggests we go to dinner....so I spin-off and say let's invite his friend w/wife and baby.
DH agrees and says it'll be great...so I then in turn start inviting other friends and family to join us (quasi-surprise)...why am I the worse wife?
I got so caught up in my own world and didn't think of doing anything "special" for him and now I'm trying to pull something together knowing that it's going to be tough to get everyone together in two days like this!  
Why my ILs are worse....b/c they were planning on doing something small at the house (just the four of us) but when I called to invite them to dinner they're busy? W T DEUCE????

Thats not a bad wife!
A bad wife would of forgotten, maybe no gift and done nothing!
Its a 31st bday (no biggie...cause Im turning 31 in June..I know)...so Im sure the dinner and friends you invited will be great and fun.
IL's..well they can suck at times but he has a good DW so therefore...no need to worry about them.

You are planning a nice dinner - what's NOT special about that?

if your a bad wife I am worse
Jake's 30th birthday is Saturday- I got him a gift- he picked it out
I wanted to plan something- but didn't (which worked out ok - b/c there is a UFC fight and he would rather stay and watch it)
He planned his own birthday celebration for the next week - a huge paint ball game- with all his friends- (I got him a paint ball gun- he is regressing)
so really- I did nothing- for his 30th!!!!
