I know!
I was talking to my mom earlier and she said that she heard they had already called in some National Guard troops because the wind is supposed to be crazy and there's going to be a lot of power outages.
Seems a bit pre-mature to do that, though 
I'll believe it when I see it.

I don't know how bad it is going to be, but Stop & Shop was out of EVERYTHING! There were literally 2 quarts of 1% milk left, no bananas, and no italian bread.

My flight was already canceled
I had to rebook - but luckily it is only an hour later - seems everything earlier is canceled as well. I'm  it isn't too bad.

I never even thought to stock up on things. I was just checking out our stash inthe kitchen and if it is in fact as bad as they are saying it's going to be, we will have to get by on graham crackers and diet coke for the next few days.
Mother Hubbards cupboard is quite bare!

We got an automated call about flood issues. It was issued for Bayville. We don't live htere, but we have a phone number with a Bayville exchange. I am taking is seriously. We took in our garbage cans (put in garage) and DH was cleaning out the gutters before (yes, he's a little wacky!).
ETA: I went to Target today and picked up eggs, milk and cheese (among other things)  We actually were out of them, and I wanted to avoid Stop and Shop and all costs. I actually found Target a bit cheaper too!

I don't think your flight is going anyway. If they canceled one an hr before. Keep calling the airline.
