I am gaining too much!
Today marks 16 weeks for me, and I have gained almost 7 pounds since the 12 week mark! I have probably gained 15 pounds so far total! I am not sure of my starting weight, but I am pretty sure I have gained between 12-15. At this rate, I am going to gain 100 pounds!

You are nuts! I see you almost everyday and you look wonderful. Don't get hung up on the numbers. Isn't that what you always told me? And what are you doing up ap 6:00 in the morning!!!!

Don't stress too much. You could level off. I had one appt where I gained 11 lbs in 6 weeks and I thought I would pass out. I cried. In the end, I gained 19 lbs and dropped three in the last three weeks before delivery.
Just concentrate of feeling well.

I'm sure your gaining is fine, your Dr. would tell you if he was concerned. Everyone gains differently!!

I'm almost exactly the same in terms of weight gain as you (15lbs total -- 6 in the last month) and my doc said I was right on target.
It just feels weird b/c its happening so fast and in our society weight is such an issue. Remember that it is all there to keep your baby healthy!

Don't worry - that month was my biggest gain as well. I gained virtually nothing up until week 12 and then from 12 weeks - 16 weeks I gained SIX POUNDS!!!!! I am now 20 weeks and have only gained about 2-3 pounds this month. For me there is no ryme or reason to it - I didn't eat any more the month I gained 6 pounds...its just the baby growing - so don't worry

Silly! You're supposed to be gaining weight!!
It's tough to see those numbers climbing on the scale - but try not to think about it....think about your healthy baby growing inside of you instead!

I have gained at least a pound a week since getting pregnant and I'm 32 weeks! I gained 5 in 3 weeks. Doctor says I'm fine... so I'm not worrying about it and neither should you!!!

I am not sure how much I am up, but I am at about the same point as you and I feel like my belly is growing like crazy.
I have my next weigh in coming up and I have to say, I am not exactly looking forward to it

Don't worry about it - I gained 40 pounds with Cailen, and in a week I lost 20 of them! Just try and eat as healthy as possible, but its not a lot of weight you gained, and as long as you arent gaining like 80 pounds, most of it will come off before you know it!

Just focus on make heathly choices (balanced meals if you can!) for your baby but don't worry too much about the weight.

This exact same thing happened to me (as itsbabytime...forgot to quote), but 5 pounds from like week 12-16. I didn't weigh myself in the last two days b/c I was sick of seeing the scale go up..but I'm sure I'm up a little more!!

If your Dr. isn't concerned I wouldn't be. Just try to eat as healthy as you can you'll be fine.

I gained 50 lbs while pregnant....now at almost 4 weeks post birth, I have lost 35 pounds with 15 to go...do not worry at all, it will come off after the baby
