What kind of fence do you have?

Right now we have a fence around the whole property and a fence around the pool. It really cuts off our backyard. I would like to remove the fence around the pool and I know that legally I can, since I have a fence around my property, but I am concern for the safety of our friends children and our future children when they are playing in the back yard. Anyone have any thoughts? Should I just leave the fence up? Are there any alternatives?

My friend in FL has this removable mesh fence around her pool. They drill into the concrete around the pool to install the fittings for the fence. When it's just adults she takes the fence down and you would never know there was one there. I think it's called saftey net or something. I'll find out.

A friend of mine has this same fence. And they're very happy with it. Like the poster above said, when it's just adults you can take it down and open up the yard.

My sister has an IG pool and a fence just around her property but she has an automatic pool cover that she uses after the kids are finished in the pool. It's one of those that an elephant can walk on.

Here is one company that installs:
All Safe Pools

Not sure if they are the ones my friend used. I'm waiting to hear back from her.

I was curious about this too because I just bought a house with an IGP, fence around Porp. and a really UGLY fence around pool. Which is okay...because I have a baby on the way, and a dog I would worry about.

But something removeable for adult company would be just great!
