Maternity Clothes Help

Where are some places you ladies are finding really good maternity clothes? My girlfriend is about 7 months along and having a difficult time finding anything that isn't something to pull over a bathing suit. She's tried Old Navy and Target and hasn't found anything. She's trying Motherhood today.

Thanks for all your help & suggestions!!!

Re: Maternity Clothes Help

It depends upon her budget and size. If she wants to spend serious cash try a pea in the pod. T shirts run about $80. Also Nordstroms has a plus size dept. with some better designers. If she is larger try lane bryant. If she is more budget conscious try mimi maternity or motherhood maternity. Also does she have any new mommy friends that are her size and willing to loan her maternity clothing. I have spent less than $300 on maternity clothing including underclothes because of friends and family.

JCPenney online has some cute stuff. I think they carry it in store as well. I wouldn't think of them for clothes but it's good stuff at good prices.

Re: Maternity Clothes Help

I bought alot of shirts at Sears when i was pregnant with Jules. I also went to a cheapie cheapie $10 Store called DANICE that sells alot of babydolls and plus size fashionalble shirts and stretch pants and I got a ton of stuff. They were so cheap I don't feel guilty buying them and only wearing them for a few more months.

I also love Old Navy and GAP online.

Which is the one in the Source Mall? Is that Mimi? I have found lots of cute inexpensive things there.

I shop at Destination Maternity - they have motherhood, Mimi and A pea in a pod. I like the store since they have a wide range of prices. The only bad thing about them is their return policy stinks.

I bought stuff at Kohls, Old Navy, Target and then I went to Dots and they had a bunch of baby doll shirts that I bought in an x-tra large and they are perfect and they were cheap also...

Re: Maternity Clothes Help

I have used JCPenny, Gap, Old Navy, Sears (Chat Icon ) on-line. They have a much larger selection on-line than in the stores, esp. for plus sizes. I also got a lot from a friend..Chat Icon

I agree about their return policy! What is that all about???? They won't give money back, only credit..right? That sucks.
