I am back with my birth story
Hello everyone,
I have posted alot in the past two weeks about my impending toxicima/preclampsia. Well last Tuesday my blood pressure shot up and the Dr. wanted to see me on Wednesday to see if it changed, on Wed I went back and no change. He sent me for a sono to see how big the baby was, both of my dr's were predicting a rather large baby. I went and they said the baby was about 8lbs and 8 oz. My Dr wanted to see me on Friday for another blood pressure check and to figure out what my options were. Should they induce or due a c-section.
Friday DH and I went to the Dr. and my blood pressure was the same, the Dr did an internal and I was only 2 cm dialated. The Dr thought the best thing for me was a c-section and DH and I agreed......So within minutes I was off to the hospital, hooked up to blood pressure meds that was about 2 o'clock.
Julianna was born at 6:37 pm on Friday March 23 and weighed 8lbs 8 oz.... We were all amazed that the sonon was on the dot. She is also 21 inches long.
I gave birth at Good Sam Hospital, and I have NO complaints....Everyone there is awesome!!!!! There was a bit of a baby boom this past week, I didn't get into my own room until midday on Saturday. Once I got there, I was very lucky and had great Roomies......
The baby is doing great. She is eating and sleeping pretty good.
As far as my c-section, I am healing pretty well, Sat the day after the surgery was brutal, but once I got up and started doing my thing I was much better. I was still on all the blood pressure meds till Saturday night and was feeling pretty funky.....

Congrats on your healthy baby girl! I love her name!! Glad to hear Good Sam was a good experience, I will be delivering there as well

Thanks ladies... Dh is great with her and will be fine once he has diaper duty... No worries on this end.....
