Re: window treatments

We have white mini-blind. I am doing a valance. I may put a sheer too just to soften the look when the blinds are open.

Re: window treatments

We are putting in dark wood blinds (love the way it looks with the white moulding and cherry furniture) and beige drapes on a bronze rod.

Re: window treatments

We're keeping the same one's that we've had in there. They actually work perfectly. They're kind of a linen/cotton folding blind.

Re: window treatments

We have creme coloured roller blinds ( no cord) that are kight filtering blinds. I will make a valance out of the fabric that I am using on the bedding, which is toile & gingham. I also am using santeen for the long part of the curtain. Everything is sage on beige.

Re: window treatments

We have white wooden blinds throughout the house...so we are keeping them in the nursery and I am just hanging up a decorative valance to match the bedding.

I've said this before, but make sure that you get black out blinds! They will come in very handy in the seasons where its light out at bedtime!!!

We got the filtering blinds, but since the sun is mostly blocked from the woods (even in the winter when the trees are bare) there was not much of a difference between the filtering ones & the darkening ones for us.

The blackout ones are great though if you are in a sunny area.
