Re: TMI question
def double check w/your doc, but if you need to use it...get the wipes, not the cream.

Any reason why one over the other?

I feel like the wipes won't work as well as the cream but I guess its better than nothing.

Re: TMI question
I agree. I think I remember a poster here saying that they actually kind of "left the pad on" for a while before getting dressed in the morning & then did the same once they were home.
What did you Dr say?

Re: TMI question
It's likely b/c the cream kind of goes "in" and would get in your blood stream whereas the pad wouldn't/as much. That's my guess based on all the reasons you take certain meds certain ways...suppositories get in your blood faster b/c of all the blood vessels in there.
eta-this was my doctor's reasoning when i needed an anti-nausea medication for the flu with DD. he gave me suppositories and said they will work faster b/c of all the blood vessels down there.

Re: TMI question
My guess is that anything you put on your skin will get absorbed into the body. The wipes are probably watered down whereas the cream would be a higher concentration of the medication. That's also probably why the cream works better

Re: TMI question
You can use the cream but use it only externally.
I would use BOTH the wipes and cream.
