So, I just got back from my 38 wk visit...

So, I just got back from my 38 wk visit...
and I am still only 1 cm dilated. The dr. is also sending me tomorrow for some extra tests b/c I told her I have been having palpitations & dizziness and feel like the baby is not as active this past week as he usually is. I am wondering if it is from his size. He was almost 7 lbs at 35 wks. and now I am 38 1/2 wks so he has to be huge now. She wants to make sure he isn't so big he is putting stress on both of us. So I have a non-stress test, growth sono and biophysical profile scheduled for tomorrow.
Funny thing....She did tell me that if all my tests come back ok I better start walking ALOT, eating chinese food and having a lot of sex though if I want this little guy to come out b/c it looks like he is very comfortable where he is.

Don't worry about the dilation! I was a finger tip dilated when i went into full labor and had dd the day after my doc appt at 39 weeks 3 days.
I had weekly non stress tests cause of my contractions too. Def start walking, i think it helped alot!
