Re: Piano Movers
I have a tiny upright (apartment size) piano. When we moved one town over, our moving company charged us $250 just to put it right inside the door in the livingroom! It's so small! I think it can be expensive-GL!

Re: Piano Movers
I just got a quote from a piano moving company for $260 and they will tune the piano for free. I wonder if that's good.

Re: Piano Movers
That's not a bad price. DH and I have a 101 year old upright grand. The thing is extremely heavy. When we had it moved a year ago it was across town and only had 2 stairs in each house. We paid $155 + we gave a tip. They did a great job. We use a registered piano tuner who charges $80 for a tuning. So, I don't think the $260 is a bad price at all. Just be sure that price includes all your stairs/steps...places will charge big money if there is a staircase invovled!
