i am approx 5 weeks and i go for my very first ob appt on tuesday. what can i expect?

At my first appt(which was around 6 weeks--I think) they did an internal sonogram so we got to see the sac adnd a little tiny resemeblance of a baby(seriously small) and the heartbeat was flickering on the screen.
Good Luck!! Hope you get to see your little bean!!!

My first appt was at 7 weeks - my doc took a few vials of blood -asked a bunch of questions - answered my questions and then I had an internal where we saw the sack and they confirmed the pregnancy.

no blood test for me, but they did make me pee in a cup and they did a test there to confirm the pregnancy. but, i guess, they saw that everything looked good, so I didnt' have blood that day. Oh, they also weighed me, blood pressure etc.
