Breaking out
My face has started to break out. Is it safe to use clearasol? I'm guessing no?

I have some in my medicine cabinet but I haven't used it even though I am also breaking out. I hate the way it always bleaches my clothes anyway.

No! My doctor said the salicytic acid (sp?) can cause birth defects. He said you can use a clearasil facial wash but not a cream that stays on the skin for a long time.

Welcome to the club! Every doc is different. Mine said no to salicytic acid but yes to benzoyl peroxide 5% and under however not every day. I think Clearsil and Oxy is 10%. Right now I'm trying tea tree oil products from The Body Shop that I hope are safe and work.

My doc said benzoyl peroxide is okay - but I'm not sure what is in clearisil. My skin is terrible...face, back, chest...and I've been using Cleriphil face wash & witch hazel. It's not 100% improved, but it's helping a little bit.

I'm using clean and clear oxyfying ? and exfoliating face wash. I am breaking out like crazy. I don't use anything that would stay on my face. I wouldn't even know that any facial products could hurt the baby.
